MoveMe was created to lift the profile of professional contemporary dance performances presented in WA as part of the marketing and audience development plan initiated through Future Moves, a four year strategic plan to develop and invigorate contemporary dance in Western Australia.  The Government of Western Australia through the Department of Culture and the Arts allocated $1.6 million to the initiative being managed by Ausdance WA, STRUT dance and the Department of Culture & the Arts.

A number of arts organisations and companies have been involved in Future Moves. Ausdance WA thanks the Future Moves Marketing Reference Group members for so generously giving of their time and expertise to help this website to come to fruition.
